[PART 2] How rich people think: 10 tips from a millionaire

We keep sharing secrets of Steve Siebold, author of “How Rich People Think”.

What unites literature, nostalgia and comfort? They all can hinder your progress towards success! Let’s find out how to sort things out!

Some more things to keep in mind if you want to become a real magnet for success:

Be wise when choosing a book to read

“Walk into a wealthy person's home and one of the first things you'll see is an extensive library of books they've used to educate themselves on how to become more successful”, said Mr Siebold. Successful people know the value of self-education and they are genuinely fond of it. But remember that the talk isn’t about novels and tabloids, right?

Keep your nostalgia on a leash

It is natural to long for the good old days to some extent. But Steven Siebold believes that those “who believe their best days are behind them rarely get rich, and often struggle with unhappiness and depression". Successful people are busy thinking about the future, not the past. They set tasks, make plans, implement projects and move on. Don’t stand still!

Step out of the comfort zone

An average person strives for comfort and a successful person “learns to be comfortable while operating in a state of ongoing uncertainty”. Millionaires are indeed stimulated by indefiniteness, which makes them feel good anywhere anytime. Especially when it comes to unforeseen situations, which are more than likely to happen on your way to the fortune!

Don’t be afraid of fear

Mr Siebold believes that the great ones have such a level of consciousness which doesn’t allow for fear. "At this level of thought, anything seems possible. Every dream that seems crazy to the masses looks surprisingly doable", he adds. Any idea is reachable if you make a plan of how to realize it. So, dare to dare!

Low expectations? No more

"Champions don't wait for things to happen, they make things happen." No millionaire would have achieved heights if he had not established ambitious goals and set off on a challenging journey to achieve them. Barriers mostly exist in our head, so expand your mind and don’t be afraid reach out for more.
